I like the graphical charter of Piwik Pro and had an idea discovering the new video series “25 years of digital analytics with Brian Clifton“:
Let’s create an effect of perspective to compare dynamically 2 months of data from the demo account of Piwik Pro!
The following components have been implemented for this result:
- A simple data set with consents to remarketing by device type
- 2 bar charts
- 2 dropdown controls and parameters to select the compared months
- Some images for the device type icons, the bricks, the picture relating the background chart and the frontend chart
- Some calculated fields to filter the metrics following the chart and the selected value in the controls
That’s all. Quite easy 🙂
I will probably improve this viz in the future and make some alternatives with more optical illusions.
